GRS was founded in 2003 as a consulting firm with accounting and financial services. The firm has developed into providing accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation and tax consulting services. I pride myself in not just providing the above services, but to being available to clients to talk and help build their businesses. When it comes to tax services, a lot of preparers hand the tax return to the clients and wish them good luck until next year. I want to be able to be available to my clients and be there when they have questions or there are changes going with their business or personal life.
Prior to GRS Accounting, I was a CFO for a small healthcare company in California. During the 3 years I was there, the company grew from 3.4 million in revenue to 16.80 million in revenue. I oversaw the business office, accounting office, and worked directly with 4 different locations. We took over a non-profit entity to manage and provided financial consulting services to several other organizations.
For 15 years, I worked as a financial consultant in the Healthcare field, which included a report that was very much like a tax return for healthcare entities that provided Medicare and Medicaid Services. The main function of our consulting was to find loopholes in the Federal Law that would maximize the reimbursement from the Medicare and Medicaid programs. As stated, this was very much like a tax return and the laws were changing every year. Keeping up with Federal Regulation was our business and continues to be the same today.
